Rooftop evaluation terms

The short version. Your login is yours alone. Show Rooftop to whoever you like on your own screen. Anyone who wants their own login just needs to ask us. Everything on the demo is sample data, not real dealership performance.

These terms cover evaluation access to the Rooftop demonstration environment provided by The Solva Group ("we", "us"). By activating an evaluation account, or by continuing to use one, you agree to them.

1. What this access is

You are being given access to a working demonstration of Rooftop so you and your colleagues can evaluate it. It is provided free of charge, for evaluation only. It is not a live service and no service levels, warranties or commitments apply to it.

2. The data is sample data

Every number, name, vehicle and deal in the demonstration environment is synthetic sample data. It does not describe the actual performance of any real dealership. Please make that clear to anyone you show it to.

3. Your login

  • Your account is personal, in your name, and not transferable.
  • Do not share your password or session with anyone, inside or outside your business.
  • If a colleague wants their own look, ask us and we will set them up with their own account. It takes minutes.

4. Showing it to others

You are welcome, and encouraged, to demonstrate Rooftop to colleagues within your business on your own screen, in person or by screen share. What we ask is that access itself does not travel: no forwarded logins, no forwarded private links, and no demonstrations to the public or to other companies without checking with us first.

5. What evaluation access is not for

  • Copying, scraping or bulk-downloading screens, code or data
  • Probing, load testing or security testing the environment
  • Building or informing a competing product
  • Publishing screenshots or recordings publicly without our written OK

6. Confidentiality

If we share non-public material with you during the evaluation, such as pricing, roadmap or technical documentation, please keep it confidential. We will do the same with anything non-public you share with us.

7. Our property

Rooftop, including its software, design, documentation and methods, remains the property of The Solva Group. Evaluation access gives you no licence or rights beyond the access itself.

8. We can switch it off

Evaluation access is at our discretion. We may suspend or end it, for anyone or everyone, at any time and without notice. We will be reasonable about it.

9. Liability

The demonstration environment is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability arising from evaluation access or from reliance on anything shown in it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
